You Are Worthy Beyond The Work You Do

I recently had the privilege to graphic record a session designed to give participants a day of rest and reflection.  Hosted by Dr. Torie Weiston-Serdan at the Youth Mentoring Action Network, a small group of educators gathered to focus on the benefits of self-care and mindfulness at work and at home.  Below are a few takeaways that inspired me and I hope will inspire you too.

Take time each day to breathe and calm your mind.

  • Give yourself time to rest. 

  • Play is necessary therapy.

  • Do something nourishing every day like gardening or listening to music.

  • Love yourself in a radical way so you can show up for others.
