Humans have always loved stories. Whether it's reading literature, listening to podcasts, or watching movies, stories allow us to occupy another space. We see things from another's point of view, which grows empathy.

When we're in the middle of a story, we're in a state of possibility - suspended from our own reality as we journey along with someone else's.

As an organization, creating a shared journey or vision will put your whole team in that state of possibility, leading to inspiration and creativity. On the personal side, sharing your own story with your teammates can be a powerful way to create connection with them.

So share your stories. Write them down, draw them out, and be willing to include the challenges you've had along the way.

As Brene Brown says: "Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do."

If you need help visualizing your story, let's talk. Bringing stories to life visually is my favorite thing to do.
